8:00 a.m. Run Begins

Race Route:  The run/walk will begin and end in the Berean  Baptist Church parking lot one block south of the Memorial Flagpole on IL 159.  The 3K route (approximately 1.9 miles) will pass by the Lincoln Statue and pass through residential neighborhoods in Bunker Hill.  The route will be clearly marked and maps will be provided the morning of the run.

 Run Entry Fee:   $20.00 per runner.  There is no fee for participating walkers.  However, donations or pledges are encouraged.

Proceeds:  Proceeds from the Lincoln Run for Funds will fund ‘mini grants’ for teachers to enhance classroom learning in the Bunker Hill School District.

Pledges and Donation:  Bunker Hill students are encouraged to obtain pledges.  The class with the most pledges will be awarded a pizza party. Walkers and students are encouraged to obtain pledges to help raise funds for our schools.  No amount is too small.  Pledges can be made payable to Bunker Hill Education Foundation.

 Run Awards:  $25 prize for the top male and female in each of the following categories:

 Patriot Class – all Junior High School & under runners
Minutemen Class
– all High School runners
Alumni Class – all adult runners

 Run Medals: Medals will be given to the top  3 male and female individual in each of the above classes.
