Hawthorne Animal Hospital is collaborating with BHHS students and providing  the opportunity to work and explore the career options available to them.  The program is designed to help prepare individuals for a career as a licensed veterinary technician by helping develop skills in areas including: animal handling and nursing, diagnostic labs, anesthesiology/surgery, radiology, and communication. Hawthorne wants to prepare our students to help provide exceptional care of pets while assisting their veterinary team. With that being said, they would like to provide our BHHS students, after graduating high school and completion of this program, tuition assistance so that they can help them through an online technician or assistant training course at the same time as providing hands-on learning and guidance.
