Bunker Hill CUSD #8 Announces "Test to Stay" Policy

Today, Bunker Hill CUSD #8 is proud to announce the launch of its "Test to Stay" Policy for students beginning on Monday, September 13, 2021. This is an optional program that will allow students exposed to Covid-19 as a "close contact" to remain in school as long as they remain asymptomatic and test on Days 1, 3, 5 and 7 after an exposure. 

In order to enroll in "Test to Stay," students MUST be enrolled in the random, weekly Shield Illinois saliva-based and non-invasive testing. The school is proud to launch this as a way to minimize the number of students, athletes and staff placed on lengthy quarantines. Students must have a parent "opt in" for the testing.
